贾斯汀强 is an assistant professor in the Department of Justice Studies at San José State University. Dr. Strong earned a Ph.D. in Criminology, Law & 社会 doctoral emphases in Critical Theory and Race and Justice Studies at the University of California, Irvine. 他的 primary research project critically interrogates a pris一个r health care lawsuit in the state of Arizona for the ways in which it offers political, aesthetic, and ethical critiques of state violence and 21st century punishment. 他的 deep engagement with pris一个rs’ legal claims is ultimately focused on generating thought on what it might mean to live a non-sovereign life. 他的 scholarship also engages topics related to pris一个r mortality and morbidity, abolition, and disability justice.
